CHICAGO -- Morgan Herrick scored a game-high 16 points and Taylor Simpson finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds as the second-ranked University of Chicago women's basketball team defeated University Athletic Association rival Brandeis University 76-48 Sunday at the Ratner Athletics Center.
Game Summary
- Chicago (16-0 overall, 5-0 UAA) took the lead for good at the 12:34 mark of the first half en route to building a 39-25 halftime advantage.
- The Maroons opened the second period with a 14-2 run to put the game out of reach. Chicago led by at least 26 points for the game's final 14:50.
