Freshman Brittany Hadley (Jasper, NY/Jasper-Troupsburg) tied her career-high with 10 points, but it wasn't enough as the Keuka College women's basketball team suffered a 69-35 loss at Penn State-Harrisburg Sunday afternoon in Middletown, PA.
Hadley, who also scored 10 points during Keuka's season-opening 79-39 win over SUNY Canton on Nov. 15, connected on 4 of 8 shots from the field (50 percent) and added 3 blocks and 2 rebounds for Keuka, which made just 15 of its 61 shots (24.6 percent).
Hadley was the only member of the Storm to score in double-figures. Senior Morgan Engelbert (Elmira, NY/Thomas Edison) grabbed a season-high 11 rebounds to go with her four points, and eight of the nine Keuka players scored in the game, but besides Hadley no player scored more than four points.
Monet Cunningham scored 22 points while Daril Foose added 19 points and seven rebounds for Harrisburg (7-6, 5-1 NEAC), which sits in first place of the NEAC's South Division.
The Storm returns to action at 7 p.m. Wednesday night with a road game against NEAC rival Wells College.
