Riverdale, N.Y. - The Rams held Mount Saint Vincent to 35 points and 24% shooting in a 62-35 Skyline Conference victory in Riverdale, N.Y. Farmingdale State improved to 3-0 in the Skyline and 4-5 overall, while the Dolphins fell to 3-6, 0-2 in conference play.

The Rams opened the game on a 15-2 run highlighted by a pair of 3-pointers from freshman guard Christina Merrill (Levittown, N.Y.). Mount Saint Vincent would score the next seven to cut the deficit to 15-9, before Farmingdale State closed the half on a 14-4 run and took a 29-13 lead into the break. Farmingdale State held the Dolphins to 5-of-27 shooting in the first half.

In the second half, the Rams opened up a 42-17 lead with 14:43 remaining. The Dolphins trailed by at least 21 points for the remainder of the game.

Senior guard Kayla Koch (Kings Park, N.Y.) led all scorers with 13 points and 10 rebounds, while junior guard Nikita Green (Roosevelt, N.Y.) added a game-high nine assists in the win.

The Rams next will host St. Joseph's in a Skyline Conference game on Tuesday, January 10th at 6:00 p.m.
