EMORY, Va. – Gabby Oglesby totaled 13 points and eight rebounds in Guilford College's 62-45 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) basketball win at Emory & Henry College Tuesday night.

Oglesby, a sophomore forward, paced three Quakers (3-2, 2-0 ODAC) in double-figure scoring and helped Guilford to its third straight victory. She contributed three blocks and a steal to a defensive effort that forced 25 turnovers and held the Wasps (1-2, 0-2 ODAC) 31.7 percent field-goal shooting. The Quakers converted the miscues into 23 points.

A tightly contested first half saw seven ties before Guilford reeled off 10 straight points on the way to a 31-24 halftime lead. The teams traded baskets for the first 10 minutes of the second half before a 13-4 Quakers' spurt opened a 56-38 edge with 6:23 left in regulation. Alex Payne knocked down a pair of three-pointers and Brittany Drew added another trifecta during the run.

Guilford's Jazlyn Gibbs chipped in 12 points and three steals. Teammate Jaclyn Nucci added 10 points, seven boards and three steals.

Emory & Henry's Ashlyn Baird's led all scorers with 16 points. Teammate Jalan McPherson knocked down three three-pointers on the way to 15 points. Morgan Grant grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds in 15 minutes off the bench.

The Quakers host Salem College Wednesday (11/30) in a 7:00 p.m. nonconference game.
