The Millikin women's basketball team lost to #11 Wisconsin-Stevens Point 66-45 at home on Nov. 22.
Cold shooting and turnovers doomed the Big Blue. Millikin hit only 28.6 percent of its shots including going 4-21 (19 percent) from three point range. Millikin committed 22 turnovers compared to the Pointers 12. Stevens Point shot 40 percent from the field. Millikin won the battle on the boards 42-35.
Julia Robert led the Big Blue with 13 points and Cecily Aldridge added 10. Brittany Czaplicki had a team high nine rebounds.
The Pointers top scorer was Sam Barber with 12. Cassie Bandlow had 11 and Alyssa Olp had 10.
Wisconsin-Stevens Point improves to 4-0 while Millikin falls to 2-2.
Millikin will host Carroll University on Sunday, Nov. 27 at 3 p.m.
