BRIDGEWATER, Va. – Jordan Burkholder scored 16 of her game-high 21 points in the second half of Bridgewater College's 76-54 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) women's basketball win over visiting Guilford College Friday.

After playing to a 35-35 draw at halftime, Burkholder sparked the league-leading Eagles (21-3, 16-3 ODAC) in the second half by making six-of-seven shots from the floor. Bridgewater connected on 50 percent of its shots and outscored the Quakers, 41-19, in the second half. Guilford (14-10, 10-9 ODAC) managed just over 24 percent shooting in the second half.

Burkholder had 10 points during the game-ending run and Molly Morgan chipped in with six of her 11 points off the bench. Her play helped Bridgewater to a 25-0 advantage in bench scoring.

Jazlyn Gibbs' 16 points led three Quakers in double-figure scoring. Gabby Oglesby tallied a double-double with 10 points, a game-high 10 rebounds and four steals.

The Quakers close the regular season Saturday at Eastern Mennonite University at 3:00 p.m.
