The Red Dragons (18-6, 13-5 SUNYAC) finish in a three-way tie for second in the SUNYAC standings with Oneonta and New Paltz, but due to league tiebreaker rules will be the fourth seed in next week's conference tournament. Cortland will host fifth-seeded Buffalo State in the quarterfinals Tuesday at 7 p.m., with that winner advancing to the semifinals Friday at the highest remaining seed.

Byrne made 4-of-9 three-pointers and all eight of her free throws. She also totaled four rebounds and three assists. Junior Brittany Cohen (Fayetteville/Jamesville-DeWitt) connected on 3-of-7 three-pointers and finished with 12 points and three assists.

Freshman Rosie McKee (Bethlehem) finished with five points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals in 21 minutes off the bench.

Brockport (6-19, 4-14 SUNYAC) will be the eighth seed in the SUNYAC tournament and will travel to top-seeded Geneseo on Tuesday. Sarah Alwardt (Rochester/Greece Athena) led the Golden Eagles with 14 points and grabbed six rebounds. Desiree Fauvelle (Newport/West Canada Valley) recorded 10 points, five rebounds and four steals, and Alex Leung (Merrick/W.C. Mepham) added eight points and four assists.
