GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Becca Bolton scored 15 of her game-high 21 points after halftime as Washington and Lee University held off Guilford College in overtime, 57-54, in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) game Friday night. Bolton also grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds to lead the Generals (15-7, 11-6 ODAC) to their eighth win in 11 games.

The game was tightly contested in the first half with neither team gaining a lead bigger than four points. The Quakers' (12-9, 8-8) Logan Terry hit a three-pointer with 16 seconds left in the first stanza to knot the game at 25 apiece going into halftime.

Washington and Lee took a early lead three-point in the second half only to see the Quakers take control halfway through the period behind a pair of Kayla Adams' three-pointers. The Generals trailed until 34 seconds remaining in the period when Allie Long hit a three-pointer to put the visitors up 48-45. Guilford's Jazlyn Gibbs answered with a three-pointer 17 seconds later to tie the game again and send the contest into overtime.

Washington and Lee's Meg Ingram was the difference in overtime, scoring seven of the Generals' nine points. She drilled a three-pointer and hit four of her six free throws in the extra period to preserve the lead. A three-pointer by Guilford's Gibbs fell short as time expired.

Brittany Atwater was the lone Quaker scoring in double-digits with 11 points. Morgan King dropped in six points and grabbed a team-high 12 rebounds. Terry and Adams both contributed nine points. The Quakers struggled from the free-throw line hitting on only 4-of-14 of their attempts, while the Generals converted on 13-19 of their free throws for the game.

Guilford closes out its regular-season home schedule Saturday (2/12) versus ODAC-rival Lynchburg College on Senior Day. Before the game the Quakers will honor their lone senior, Lauren LeFevers, beginning at 4:00 p.m. in the Ragan-Brown Field House.
