(NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.) - Senior center Nicole Dickman (Park Hills, Ky./Notre Dame Academy) scored a game-high 14 points to lead the top-ranked Thomas More College women's basketball team to a 53-37 win over Westminster College today (Saturday, January 29, 2011) in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game at Buzz Ridl Gymnasium in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania.

With the win, the Saints remain undefeated as they improve to 19-0 overall and 11-0 in the PAC.  With the loss, the Titans fall to 4-15 overall and 0-11 PAC.

Thomas More raced out to a 12-2 lead when Dickman converted a three-point play with 9:30 to play in the first half.  Westminster responded with an 8-4 run capped by a jumper by Katie Hughes to cut the lead to 16-10 with 7:23 to play in the opening half.  The Saints came right with a 14-5 run to extend the lead to 30-15 with 1:02 to play in the half when sophomore guard Allison Long (Hebron, Ky./Conner) made a three-pointer.  The Titans cut the lead to 30-17 at halftime when Hughes made a lay-up with nine-seconds to play in the first half.

Westminster opened the second half on an 8-6 run to cut the lead to 36-25 with 12:06 to play in the game when Emily Dolsak made a lay-up.  Thomas More answered with an 8-2 run to extend the lead to 44-27 when sophomore guard Jill Brunsman (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mother of the Mercy) made two free-throws.  The Titans came right back with an 8-1 run capped by a lay-up by Courtney Zitt to cut the lead to 45-35 with 2:33 to play in the game.  That would be as close as the Titans would come as Thomas More closed out the game on an 8-2 run for the 53-37 victory.

Freshman forward Moriah Corey (Louisville, Ky./Butler) joined Dickman in double-figures with 10 points.  Dickman led the team on the boards with a game-high eight rebounds, while freshman guard Devin Beasley (Burlington, Ky./Conner) led the team in assists with three.
