CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY (January 25, 2011) . . . The Chatham University women's basketball team traveled to Kentucky this evening to take on #1 Thomas More College in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action. The Saints shot an astounding 62% from the field tonight en route to a 90-40 victory over the visiting Cougars.
Leading the Cougars tonight was senior guard Courtney Smith (Round Hill, VA/Loudoun Valley). Smith finished the game with a game-high 14 points against the top ranked team in the country.
Chatham drops to 6-12 overall and 2-8 in PAC standings and returns to action on Saturday, January 29th when they will host St. Vincent College in a 2 pm conference match-up.
