A steady attack by the Pride eventually led to a 21-point lead (33-12), forcing the Pilgrims to burn yet another timeout.

New England's Stephanie Parker (Wilder, Vt./Hartford) would score the team's first points with a three-pointer with less than a minute remaining in the first half.

Regis College scored 11 points off 10 New England turnovers, and held a sizable advantage on the boards. The Pride had 21 rebounds to the Pilgrims 13, creating 12 points for Regis College in second chance opportunities.

Claire Ramonas (Portland, Maine/Deering) had a solid game finishing with 15 points for Regis College. Sarah McNult (Hampstead, NH/Pinkerton Academy) bordered a double-double in the first posting 10 points and nine rebounds.

Having shot a lowly 17.4 percent in the first half, New England was just 4-of-23 in the first half. Meanwhile Regis College had its best first half of the season shooting 58.1 percent (18-for-31) from the field.

New England returned from intermission determined to fight its way back into the game. Posting 10 points in the first 8:00 of the second half gave New England a fighting chance, but with each basket Regis College fought harder.

Regis College took its largest lead at that time with a 55-22 lead at 11:12. Lauren Kimble (Concord, Calif./Miramonte) would drain the three-pointer from the left wing, continuing Regis' respectable night shooting.

Amber Jackson would get on the boards for New England giving New England its first score in more than 3:00. A dribble drive by Crawford answered the Pilgrims score giving Regis College a 59-24 lead.

Parker found herself in familiar territory converting a three-pointer at 2:45, but the Pride still had a 68-33 advantage. Regis increased its lead with a Christina Pierre-Louis (Randolph, Mass./Randolph) three and layup off a fast break.

Continuing to fight, New England's Jackson made good on a jumper in the lane to close out the game 71-40. Jackson finished with four points. Parker had a team-high 12 points for New England.
