ADRIAN, Mich. - Five players scored double-digit points as the Saint Mary's basketball team picked up their tenth win of the season with a 75-56 MIAA victory over Adrian on the road on Saturday.

The Belles started the game off on a 12-0 run and never looked back as they would hold the lead for the entire contest. Adrian would get within six points at 30-24 with 7:19 to go before the half. Saint Mary's responded with another run, out-scoring the Bulldogs 15-2 to go up 45-26 with less than three minutes to go in the first half.

After that run and leading 47-30 at the break, Saint Mary's would maintain at least a 10-point lead over Adrian for the remainder of the game.

The 75-56 victory snapped a two-game losing skid while giving Saint Mary's their seventh straight season with at least 10 victories. The Belles also picked up their 10th win of the season in the 2009-10 campaign at the Merillat Gymnasium against Adrian last year.

Balanced scoring and free throws were key for Saint Mary's in the win. Five players notched at least 11 points for the Belles. Patsy Mahoney led the way with 19 points on 8-of-14 shooting from the floor. Maggie Ronan had 14 points and Kelley Murphy added 13 for Saint Mary's. Jessica Centa was perfect from the charity stripe, hitting all eight attempts as she finished the game with 12 points. Domini Paradiso had her third double-digit scoring game of the season with 11 points for the Belles.

Liz Wade moved up to third in the all-time program standings in assists with five dimes in the win. She moved past Julie Radke's mark of 304 assists and now has 306.

As a team, Saint Mary's was 27-of-29 (93.1%) from the free throw line. Moreover, the Belles did not attempt a single three-point basket in the contest.

The Belles (10-5, 3-3 MIAA) will travel to in-state MIAA foe Trine on Tuesday, January 18 for a 7:30 p.m. contest against the Thunder.
