GREENSBORO, N.C. (1/4/11) -- Senior Lauren LeFevers scored 21 of her team-high 25 points from behind the 3-point line to lead Guilford College to an 81-64 home victory over Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) -rival Hollins University Tuesday night. LeFevers' seven 3-pointers was one shy of tying Ann Seufer's '10 school record set in 2006. The Quakers 13 made tri-fectas was also one shy of the team record set last season versus Hollins.

Guilford (6-3, 2-2 ODAC) got another strong performance from Jazlyn Gibbs who knocked down 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Morgan King notched her third double-double of the year tallying 14 points and 13 rebounds, while classmate Kayla Adams added 10 points. Freshman Gabby Oglesby tied Jennie Keichline's '04 school record with five blocked shots in the game.

Jasmine Greene scored a game-high 26 points while teammate Tamara Phillips added 16 more to spark a Hollins' (4-5, 2-3 ODAC) rally which cut an 11-point Guilford lead to just three with 11 minutes remaining. However the visitors would get no closer the rest of the game as Guilford outscored Hollins 27-13 down the stretch to pull away and seal the game.

The Quakers return to action this weekend with a pair of games on the road. Guilford travels to play ODAC-rivals Randolph-Macon (Jan. 7 at 7:00 p.m.) and Virginia Wesleyan (Jan. 8 at 4:00 p.m.).
