(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) - Senior center Nicole Dickman (Park Hills, Ky./Notre Dame Academy) and sophomore guard Chelsea Tolliver (Morning View, Ky./Simon Kenton) each reach double-figures to lead the fifth-ranked Thomas More College women's basketball team to a 64-35 win over Geneva College tonight (Monday, January 3, 2011) in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania.

With the win, the Saints remain unbeaten at 11-0 overall and with the loss, the Golden Tornadoes fall to 6-5 on the season.

Thomas More jumped out to a 16-3 lead with 12:44 to play in the first half when Tolliver made a lay-up.  Geneva answered with a 14-4 run to cut the lead to 20-17 when Valerie Hamilton made a jumper at the 2:59 mark of the first half.  The Saints closed out the half on a 4-2 run to extend the lead to 24-19 at halftime.

The Saints opened the second half on a 24-8 run capped by a jumper by sophomore forward Katie Kees (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mother of Mercy) to extend the lead to 48-27 with 9:37 to play in the game.  Geneva's Kristland McCracken made two free-throws with 9:10 to cut the lead to 48-29, but that would be as close as the Golden Tornadoes would come as Thomas More closed out the game on a 16-6 run for the 64-35 victory.

Dickman and Tolliver led the Saints in scoring with 16 and 12 points respectively.  Senior forward Amy Stultz (Amelia, Ohio/McNicholas) led the team on the boards with seven rebounds, while sophomore guard Allison Long (Hebron, Ky./Conner) led the team in assists with five and freshman guard Emily Sanker (Alexandria, Ky./Bishop Brossart) led the team in steals with three.

Thomas More returns to action on Wednesday (January 8) when it hosts Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) rival Washington & Jefferson College at 5:30 p.m. inside the Connor Convocation Center in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.
