LA PLUME, Pa. - Wesley College limited Keystone to just 17 first half points and big games from Jazmine Miller (Dover, Del./Dover), Cory Boyd (Point Pleasant, N.J./Point Pleasant) and Angie Owens (Seaford, Del./Seaford) led the Wolverines to a 56-39 win.

Miller led the team with 18 points, fueled by a 5-of-6 day from three point range.

Boyd, meanwhile, had an excellent all-around performance, finishing just one point and one assist shy of a triple double.  The senior grabbed 12 rebounds and added four steals in the win.

Owens tallied her sixth double-double in seven games with 12 points and 11 boards to go along with four blocked shots.

The Wolverines (4-3) led 16-14 after a three by the Giants' (1-9) Sarah Barreto with 7:09 left in the first half.  But Wesley, who held its second straight opponent under 40 points, limited Keystone to just one field goal over the remainder of the half for a 31-17 lead at the break.  Miller and Owens outscored the Giants themselves, combining for 24 first half points.

The Wolverines hit 5-of-12 threes in the half, while holding Keystone to just 6-of-27 shooting from the field.

In the second half, Wesley pushed its lead to as many as 21 after a Miller free throw with 7:06 left in the game made it 49-28.

The Giants shot just 13-of-51 in the game (26 percent).  The Wolverines limited Keystone's Ellen Fallon, averaging over 14 points per game, to just 2-of-13 shooting in the game.

Melinda Moore was the lone Giant in double figures with 11 points, while Middletown, Delaware native Tiana Cuttino grabbed 12 rebounds.

The Wolverines travel to Rowan on December 21 at 6:00 PM.
