After an impressive victory at home over St. Scholastica to open the season last Monday, the Yellowjacket women's basketball team took to the road to take part in the Crown College Tip-Off Classic.  The Yellowjackets mowed down the competition, winning a pair of games by an average 33 points, improving to 3-0 on the young season.

For the year, the Yellowjackets are averaging 85.33 points scored and a miniscule 55.33 points allowed.

In the second game of the weekend it was more of the same for the Yellowjackets, who jumped out to a 42-30 lead at halftime, paced by Connie Urmanski (Edgar, Wis.), Kelsey Thingvold (Crystal, Minn.) and Bri Davis (Hermantown, Minn.), who all hit double figures in the first half and accounted for all but nine of the team's first half points.  Davis would finish with a monster game, scoring 25 points and grabbing ten rebounds.  Urmanski and Hailey Hart (Osseo, Wis.) had four assists apiece and Hart added a block and three steals to her scoring line.

Jessica Aakre led Waldorf with 11 points.
