Junior guard Isaac Ward buried a jumper that gave Ohio Wesleyan a 6-point first-half lead, but Wooster answered with a 16-0 run and went on to an 82-58 North Coast Atlantic Conference win on Saturday in Wooster.

Wooster broke a 13-13 tie with a jumper by Isaiah Johnson, but senior guard Henry Hinkle responded with a 3-pointer that put the Bishops ahead, and freshman wing Jake Lowman followed with a 3-pointer for a 19-15 Ohio Wesleyan lead.  After the teams traded hoops, Ward's jumper made it a 23-17 game with 6:51 left in the first half.

The Fighting Scots then took off on the 16-0 run, getting a pair of hoops from E.J. Kapihe before Jamir Billings' 3-pointer broke a 23-23 tie and put the hosts ahead to stay.  Jaiden Cox-Holloway scored 4 straight points and another Billings trifecta gave Wooster a 33-23 lead.

Ohio Wesleyan was still within 41-33 after a free throw by fifth-year post Tony Carter early in the second half, but Wooster reeled off the next 9 points, with Ashton Price's bucket extending the lead to 50-33, and the margin would remain in double figures throughout the remainder of the contest.

Hinkle led the Bishops with 17 points.  Carter had a team-high 7 rebounds.  Senior post Phil Wallace recorded 4 assists.
