THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – Cal Lutheran recorded its second-straight win of 30+ points, dominating Caltech 95-42 on Saturday night.

The win marks an average margin of victory of 35 in the Kingsmen's past four wins.

It's been a lopsided affair between the two squads, with Cal Lutheran winning 63 of the teams' 68 matchups all-time.

It was the Kingsmen's first victory of 50+ points since Dec. 9, 2006. Cal Lutheran would accomplish the feat three times that season, twice against Caltech.

The Beavers (0-13, 0-4) kept it close to start, trailing the Kingsmen (11-3, 4-1) 15-18 with 13:28 remaining in the first half before a 31-8 run put Cal Lutheran up by 26 at the break.

The Kingsmen kept their foot on the gas in the second half, starting an 11-2 run and ultimately outscoring Caltech 46-19 to close out the game.

No Kingsmen starter played more than 18 minutes. This allowed the second unit and freshmen to get quality minutes..

"Very happy our first and second group played well enough to get rest and get the young guys some quality minutes," said Head Coach Russell White.

The Kingsmen are back in action at 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20 against Chapman in Gilbert Arena.
