ADA — The Ohio Northern men's basketball team opened the home portion of its schedule with a 89-55 victory over area-rival Bluffton on Wednesday night.

• Sophomore Carter Reese (Columbus/Westerville North) led the team with 17 points 
• Sophomore Jadi Cunningham (Columbus/Westerville South) added 16 points, snagged 5 rebounds and had 6 assists.
• Junior Will Miller (Ottoville) added 11 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
• Junior Bryce Stuart (Lucasville/Valley) added 8 points, brought in 4 rebounds, and had 2 assists
• Nevin Robson led Bluffton with 12 points.
• Northern started the game on a 10-2 run and would not trail in the contest.
• The Polar Bears would end the half on a 15-4 run, leading 46-23 at intermission.
• The Polar Bears would go on a 14-5 run to extend their lead to 64-36 with 10:51 left in the game.
• Ohio Northern was 35-of-58 from the floor for 60.3 percent and made 7-22 three-pointers for 31.8 percent, while Bluffton finished 19-of-50 from the field for 38 percent and 3-of-18 from three-point range for 16.7 percent.
• ONU made 12-of-15 free throws for 80 percent and GC was 14-of-18 from the foul line for 77.8 percent.
• The Polar Bears out-rebounded the Beavers 42-14.
