Hackettstown, N.J. - (1/31/2024) - Gwynedd Mercy University (13-8, 6-2) earned their fourth straight Atlantic East Conference (AEC) victory with tonight's 92-65 victory at Centenary University (N.J.) (2-19, 0-8). The Cyclones held an early 17-10 (13:21) edge, but a 33-13 run earned the Griffins a 43-30 (0:08) halftime advantage before claiming their 27-point league win. Senior guard Aziz Parker (Westampton, N.J.) continued his proficient play with five three pointers (5-of-9, .556) in a 21-point performance that came with nine rebounds, three assists, and a steal.

- Gwynedd Mercy University wore on Centenary University midway through the first half as Parker triggered an 11-2 run that delivered the Griffins a 20-19 advantage with 10:24 remaining in the opening frame.
- A free throw from junior guard Aquil Stewart (Philadelphia, Pa.) extended the Griffin lead to as many as 15 points, 41-26 (1:54), before the 13-point halftime spread.
- In the second half, the Red and Gold's 54-35 rebounding edge and the Cyclones 35.5% (22-of-62) shooting percentage allowed Gwynedd Mercy University to grow their lead to as many as 28 points, 85-57 (4:29).
- Parker was joined in double figures by graduate guard Manny Clark (Pottsgrove, Pa.) and junior guard Mike Marable (Philadelphia, Pa.); the former totaled 17 points, five rebounds, an assist, and two steals, while the latter finished the contest with 16 points, nine rebounds, a team-high five assists, and a steal.
