LANCASTER, Pa. – Junior guard Kedrick Frink (Sunderland, Md./Huntingtown) converted two free throws with 2.1 seconds left to cap a game-high 28-point performance and comeback from 15 down to give visiting Washington College a one-point lead and withstood a final shot by host Franklin & Marshall to come away with a 62-61 win on Tuesday night in Centennial Conference men's basketball action at the Mayser Center. The Shoremen are now 2-10 overall and 1-5 in the Centennial to pick up their first conference win of the year, while the Diplomats drop to 8-5 and 3-3 respectively.

How It Happened
- Washington led 12-11 following a layup by Jason Zielinski with 14:25 remaining in the first half before Franklin & Marshall went on an 11-2 run to grab a 22-14 lead with 10:12 to go on a Mark Suchy lay-in.
- Sam Corrao canned two free throws for the Shoremen to cut the Diplomats' lead to 24-20 with 5:03 left in the half. The hosts would answer with 10 straight points to take a 34-20 advantage with 2:16 to go in the stanza on an Omar Nichols three-pointer.
- F&M took a 37-24 lead into halftime.
- In the second half, the Diplomats took their biggest lead of the night of 15 points, 43-28, 3:09 into the stanza on a Jaylen Green three.
- Washington would go on a 12-3 run to trim the lead to 46-40 with 11:57 to go in the contest on a Frink lay-in.
- Down 52-42 with 9:38 to go in the game following a triple by F&M's Vakaris Grauslys, WC would score 13 of the next 17 points to reduce the deficit to a single point, 56-55, with 4:37 left on a Precieux Tshibangu layup.
- Trailing 60-57, Sam Corrao banked in a three from nearly 30 feet with 45 seconds to go to level the game at 60-60.
- John Seidman would make free throw after he was fouled with 23 seconds to go to give the Diplomats a 61-60 edge.
- Frink would get the ball and drove to the basket and fouled with 2.1 left. He swished the first free throw and the second one rolled around the rim before dropping in to give the guests a 62-61 lead.
- Suchy's had the last shot of the game and his three hit the back of the rim and Washington came away with the win.
For The Shoremen (2-10, 1-5 CC)
- Frink (game-bests of 28 points and six assists), Tshibangu (six rebounds and two blocks), Braden Rodriguez (two rejections)
- The Shoremen, who had 32 rebounds in the victory, shot 43% (20-for-47) from the floor, 38% (6-for-16) from three-point range and 80% (16-for-20) from the foul line.
- Washington outscored F&M in points off turnovers, 14-8, and second chance points, 8-6.
- The Shoremen had 10 turnovers.
For Franklin & Marshall (8-5, 3-3 CC)
- Seidman (15 points and two steals), Grauslys (11 points), Nichols (10 points), Green (two steals), Suchy (six boards), Sebastien Charles (four boards)
- The Diplomats shot 41% (21-for-51) from the floor, 42% (8-for-19) from three-point range and 65% (11-for-17) from the free throw stripe, while grabbing 32 boards.
- F&M outscored WC in transition points, 8-6, and bench points, 17-10.
- The Diplomats had 11 turnovers in the contest.
