William Paterson Men's Basketball Drops NJAC Road Tilt to Rowan

GLASSBORO, N.J. – The William Paterson men's basketball team (4-3, 1-2 NJAC) dropped a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) game to Rowan (4-2, 3-0 NJAC), 106-80, on Dec. 3.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • The Profs held a three-point advantage (30-27) with less than seven minutes remaining in the first half before going on a 25-3 run that spanned 5:41 of game time.
  • Rowan's lead proved to be insurmountable as the Profs continued to build on their advantage in the second half before securing the win.

 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

  • Sophomore Neftali Valentin logged his fourth double-digit scoring effort of the year after posting a team-high 16 points on 6-of-11 shooting (.545).
  • Junior Tyreek Montgomery reached double figures in the scoring column for the seventh straight outing after finishing with 14 points.
  • Senior Jadon Cepeda recorded 10 points to pair with seven rebounds.
