The Hawks got out to a fast 5-0 lead. Keuka College got their first points in style as Nana Oteng (Queens, N.Y. / Martin Luther) found Daniel Obunse (Queens, N.Y. / Flushing) to lay in the alley-oop. The Wolves would take a 9-8 lead on a three by Will Tehan, but it would be Keuka's only three for the first ten minutes of play as the Wolves went 1-13 from deep. Conversely, Hartwick started 4-5 from deep as they built a lead over Keuka. Hartwick led 28-17 with 7 minutes left, but a Tehan three started a comeback. Later a three by Devin Milton cut it to six, 30-24. Keuka College closed on a 9-0 run. The final points came on a fast-paced sequence that saw Devin Milton get the block on the defensive end, and drain a long jumper on the offensive end as the game would be tied 32-32 at the half.

The Hawks quickly jumped back in front as they scored the first seven points of the second half. Nana Oteng made a jumper to get the Wolves on the board three minutes in. The visitors would push their lead back up to double digits, leading 57-45 midway through the second. The Wolves once again attempted a comeback. Will Tehan made a layup to cut it to six. Zach Bealer (Montgomery, N.Y. / Valley Central) converted a three-point play to cut it to one. Later, Jahmr Jordan (Albany, N.Y. / Albany) had a steal and fast-break layup, plus he was fouled. A three-point-play for the senior cut it to two points, 64-62 with six minutes left to play. Hartwick responded with an eight-point run over five minutes, however, to put the game out of reach. It was their largest run of the game. The Hawks saw the game out to defeat Keuka College 76-68.
