La PLUME, Pa. – Tyrell Lacoste (Aberdeen, Md./Aberdeen), Jack Anderson (Davie, Fla./Western) and Pete Laidley (Miramar, Fla./Pembroke Pines Charter) combined for 64 points — 51 in the second half — to fend off visiting Bryn Athyn, 77-68, Monday night in Colonial States Athletic Conference play at the Gambal Athletic Center.
The aforementioned trio had totaled just 11 points at halftime and found themselves down by 11 as the Lions splashed eight first-half 3-pointers at a 44.4 percent rate.
But the Giants came roaring out the gates, shooting 5 of 6 with four 3-pointers to scat out on a 16-3 run as Lacoste hit his fourth (of seven total) long-range bucket to give Keystone the go-ahead score at 39-37.
Lacoste, Anderson and Laidley did all the scoring the rest of the way to finish strong on 38 points to fend off Bryn Athyn for the win.
Keystone improved to 6-6 in the CSAC (8-13 overall) and moved one step closer toward clinching one of five spots in next week's CSAC Championships.
Bryn Athyn fell to 4-8 CSAC, 6-17 overall.
