Baruch Defeats Rutgers-Camden in First Home Game Played in 644 Days

The Baruch College Bearcats recorded a 70-57 non-conference home win against the Scarlet Raptors of Rutgers Camden on Tuesday night in the ARC Arena.

With the exception of a brief 19-17 lead by the visitors from southern New Jersey, the Bearcats controlled the contest and ended the first half with a 9-2 run to lead 35-25 at the break.

They kept the momentum going in the second half en route to winning their first home game played in 644 days.

Mohamed Gueye had a solid evening with 15 points shooting a near perfect 7-of-8 from the field. Adnan Bajrami added 13 points.

Tavian Alford led the visitors from the New Jersey Athletic Conference with 13 points.
