Baruch Takes Third at Franklin & Marshall Tournament, Defeat FDU Florham 83-59

The Baruch College Bearcats shot 59 percent (20-for-34) in the second half and out-rebounded FDU Florham 39-25 the entire game to record an 83-59 victory in the third place game of the Franklin & Marshall Tournament on Saturday in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

The Bearcats broke open the contest in the final 7:15 of the first half scoring 11 straight points to turn a 23-23 tie into a 34-23 advantage into the halftime break.

They started the second half scoring eight of the first 10 points en route to the victory to even their early season record at 1-1.

Adnan Bajrami led the Bearcats with 18 points followed by Liam Sanborn with 13.

Michael Richards (5-for-6 fg, seven assists) and Emil Purisic (5-for-7 fg, 12 rebounds) scored 11 points each in the win.

Oliver Ortman led the opponent from the All-Mac Freedom Conference with 17 points and six assists.
