• Eric Grygo scored a layup on the game's opening possession and Benedictine did not trail in the contest, shooting a season high 57 percent
• Three different players scored as part of a 7-0 run that saw Benedictine open a 13-4 lead less than five minutes into the game
• The lead grew to double figures at 19-9 on a three-pointer from Nick Kosich with 13:33 remaining in the first half
