St. Thomas rebounds, posts road win at Carleton

Sophomore guard Riley Miller sank five 3-pointers and closed with a career-high 22 points to lead No. 9-ranked Tommie Men's Basketball to Wednesday night's 77-64 conference victory at Carleton.

St. Thomas (12-2 overall, 8-1 MIAC) has won 17 of its last 19 road games dating back to November 2018. The Toms used a 25-0 advantage in bench points and sank 13 shots behind the arc en route to Wednesday's victory.

Junior Burt Hedstrom matched his career high with 16 points and added a career-best nine rebounds. Anders Nelson played just 17 minutes due to foul trouble and fouled out with seven points. Elijah Hannah had seven points, five boards, two assists and two steals off the bench.

Isaac Tessier scored a game-high 25 points to lead the Knights, who had a two-game win streak snapped.

St. Thomas plays at St. Mary's on Saturday afternoon.
