• Wisconsin Lutheran scored the first five points of the game, but Benedictine responded to open a 20-11 lead after two free throws from Eric Grygo with 13:07 to play in the opening 20 minutes
• A three-pointer from Kenny Bogus with 7:32 left in the half enabled Benedictine to open a 29-15 advantage
