More news about: Baruch

The Baruch Coillege Bearcats defeated Lehman College, 68-58, in a CUNYAC contest on Monday night in the Bronx.

The win helps set up a a first place showdown on Wednesday night at home against the College of Staten Island for the top seed in the CUNYAC Tournament and the Regular Season Title.

In addition to tonight's win, senior Bryler Paige earned national television attention on a play with about 18:00 minutes remaining in the second half. Paige scrambled for a loose ball as the shot clock was about to expire and managed to hit a bank shot while he was still on the floor. The shot gave the Bearcats at the time a 31-22 lead.

The shot, which was first posted on Lehman College Athletic's twitter account, was then retweeted by Baruch Athletics and the Bearcats' following (in addition to instagram) with the popular ESPN hashtag #SCTop10. That hashtag is used to catch the sport network's attention every night, which it did in this case, and was good enough to be the No. 10 play of the night. (video below).

Andre Harris led the victorious Bearcats this evening with 17 points on 7-of-12 shooting. William Sixsmith had 12 points and Paige finished with eight points for the visiting Bearcats.

Andre Hampton had a big game for hosts Lehman with a double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds.

The now famous butt shot by Bryler Paige has gone viral! It was No. 10 on tonight's #ESPN Top 10 list.
