Baruch Falls at Staten Island, Suffer First CUNYAC Defeat

The Baruch College Bearcats dropped a CUNYAC contest (74-49) to the Dolphins from the College of Staten Island on Wednesday night.

The visiting Bearcats struggled shooting 28 percent (17-for-60) from the field and could not overcome a slow start. 

The host Dolphins shot 53 percent in the second half to join the Bearcats in first place in the standings at 7-1 as the conference schedule reaches the midway point. 

Andre Harris had his ninth double-double of the season tallying 19 points and 10 rebounds. Bryler Paige finished with eight points.

The Dolphins received a pair of 20-point scoring efforts this evening led by Christian Taylor (23 points) and Adeola Latunji (22 points).
