ANNVILLE, Pa. - The Hood College men's basketball team led at halftime but Lebanon Valley could not miss from 3-point range in the second half, going 8 of 10 to in the final 20 minutes to defeat the Blazers 92-85 in a Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth contest.

- Mason Wang scored 23 points to lead the Blazers, hitting 6 of 12 field goals and dishing out four assists. He went 10 of 10 at the free throw line, the most attempts in a game without a miss for a Hood player since Justin Bowens went 10 of 10 in December 2012.
- Evan Wang had a season-high five steals and finished with 14 points on 4 of 7 shooting. He was perfect on five free throw attempts.
- Three other Blazers reached double figures in scoring, led by Michael Riley's 14 points. Anthony Pearson scored 11 points and Tyler Evans had a career-high 10 points.
How it Happened
- The Blazers led for the entirety of the first half and took their biggest lead, 36-29, on a pair of free throws by Evans with 2:56 left in the period. Two free throws by Mason Wang made it 38-32 just over a minute later but the Dutchmen scored five points down the stretch to cut the Hood lead to a point at halftime.
- Jeremy Deihm opened the second half scoring with a pair of baskets to give LVC a 41-38 lead. Hood pulled within a point, 49-48, on a jumper by Wang with 15:34 left in the game but Zach Tucker hit a 3-pointer on the next possession for the Dutchmen.
Notes
- Lebanon Valley shot 62 percent in the second half and led by as many as 10. Tucker had 15 points in the half to finish with 27 in the contest.
- Jason Green scored 14 off the bench, while Diehm's day ended with 13. AJ Catanzaro was a perfect 3 of 3 from 3-point range and had 10 points.
- Hood responded to LVC's strong day behind the arc with a 24 for 30 effort at the free throw line (80 percent).
- The Blazers held a 24-15 edge in points off turnovers and 17-9 in second chance scoring.
- Hood fell to 7-4 overall and 2-3 in the MAC Commonwealth. LVC is 4-7 and 1-3.
