Baruch Defeats Kean in Season Opener (82-63)

William Sixsmith scored 21 points and Andre Harris tallied a double-double of 16 points, 11 rebounds to lead the Baruch College men's basketball team to an 82-63 home opener win on Saturday afternoon in the ARC Arena.

The visiting Cougars from the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) led early at 5-2, but the Bearcats would later go on a 22-6 run behind 70 percent first-half shooting to break open the contest for a 48-29 halftime advantage.

The lead would never go below 16 points during the second half with 13 different players getting into the scoring column.

Sixsmith nailed six threes and Harris shot 7-of-9 for the season-opening win. Bryler Paige finished with 12 points.

Micah Kerr led the visiting Cougars with 18 points.
