Guard Jason Beckman scored 26 points to lead the Hope College men's basketball team in an 81-65 win against Adrian College in the MIAA Tournament semifinals on Friday.

The second-seeded Flying Dutchmen improved to 17-9 overall and advanced to Saturday's 7:30 p.m. championship game at Olivet College. Hope will face the winner of Friday's second semifinal between Olivet and Trine.

Hope overcame a 20-6 deficit to start the game.

Guard Dante Hawkins chipped 15 points for the Flying Dutchmen. 

Center Preston Granger added 14 points and 10 rebounds for Hope.

Forward Jeff Goral added 11 points against Adrian (17-9).
