Baruch Powers Past Medgar Evers on Senior Day

The men's basketball team celebrated their Senior Day with a 74-53 home victory over Medgar Evers College on Saturday afternoon.

Prior to the game, the Bearcats recognized seniors Dwayne Brydie and Chimaechi Ekekeugbor in their final regular season home game in the ARC Arena.

The game turned for the team after a 29-4 run to close out the first half to enter locker room with a ton of momentum. That was enough to record their ninth win in the past 11 contests.

Ekekeugbor had a double-double on his Senior Day with 27 points and 13 rebounds to go along with his six steals.

Bryler Paige scored 18 points, including five three-pointers.

For Medgar Evers College, Maurice Swaby II had 16 points.
