As the rain fell outside of Horst Athletic Center, the Lancaster Bible College men's basketball team was making it rain 3-pointers inside, as the Chargers connected for 15 3-pointers en route to a 93-76 thrashing of St. Elizabeth. The victory, the 11th straight for Lancaster Bible, moves the Chargers to 19-4 overall this season and 14-0 in North Eastern Athletic Conference play, while the Eagles fell to 7-15 overall and 3-11 in NEAC action.

How it Happened: It was St. Elizabeth who came out firing early in the first half, as the Eagles took a 7-0 lead 2:05 into the contest. After a 30-second timeout however, Lancaster Bible regained its composure and scored 10 straight points, which junior Quentin Davis put a exclamation point on with a thunderous dunk.

The Chargers took an 18-12 lead with 13:07 remaining in the first half on sophomore Luke Beers' first of four 3-pointers, but the Eagles responded scored the next four points to make it a two-point contest. Lancaster Bible responded again and this time used a 9-0 run, capped by senior Bill Livezey's 3-pointer, that made it 27-16 in favor of the home team.

Back-to-back 3-pointers from Beers with under five minutes to play extended Lancaster Bible's lead to 40-21, and the Chargers eventually led 49-32 at halftime.

Lancaster Bible led 62-38 just over six minutes into the second half and used a 7-0 run to increase the lead to 69-38 with 11:39 to play. Junior Alex Whitt drained a 3-pointer with 8:21 to play to give Lancaster Bible 77-43 advantage, and freshman Matt Pereira sunk another triple on the Chargers' next possession to give Lancaster Bible an 80-45 advantage.

Pereira converted a layup in transition three minutes later to give Lancaster Bible its largest advantage, 90-51, before St. Elizabeth scored a bunch of points late in the contest to make the game closer than it was for 35 minutes.
