Tommie men bounce back, get big road win

Junior forward G.T. Johnson scored 13 points and eight different Tommies made a 3-pointer in St. Thomas' 91-61 men's basketball win over Concordia in MIAC play Wednesday evening in Moorhead.

The Tommies (7-6 overall, 5-3 MIAC) bounced back from a season-low offensive showing and a poor shooting performance two nights earlier in a 62-52 home loss to Augsburg.

Fourteen different players scored for St. Thomas, which scored the final 11 points of the first half for a 45-24 lead at the break. The Toms started the second half with an 11-3 run to push the lead to 29 points.

Michael Hannon had 11 points and three assists to lead the Tommies' 45 bench points. Erik Davis scored 10 points. Ryan Boll had nine points and nine rebounds in 21 minutes.

Austin Heins had 12 points for the Cobbers (4-9, 2-6).
