Las Vegas, NV: The No. 6 ranked Ramapo College men's basketball team had their winning streak snapped as No. 14 Ohio Wesleyan University beat the Roadrunners, 98-69, in the opening game of the D3Hoops.com Classic. The Roadrunners move to 9-2 overall while the Battling Bishops improve to 9-1 overall.

The first half saw Ramapo get off to a 5-0 run to start the game. However, Ohio Wesleyan was hitting the three ball. Seth Clark led the team with four three-pointers while going 5-of-12 from the field for a team-high 14 points at the half. The Battling Bishops went into the locker with a 47-35 lead.

Thomas Bonacum, Josh Ford, and Chris Moseley each had six points in the first half while Patrick Peterson and Jordan Zagadou had four points.

The stellar shooting from Ohio Wesleyan continued in the second half as the team hit four three-pointers to open the half. They would continue pouring in shots to get the lead up over 30. Clark hit three more three-pointers, while Nate Axelrod had three himself for a team-high 13 points in the second half.

Bonacum had a team-high nine points in the second half, going 4-for-4 from the free throw line. Nick Stanek saw seven of his 10 points fall in the half as well.

Overall, the Battling Bishops hit 25 threes, which is a school record as well as a North Coast Conference record. They shot 47 percent from beyond the arc (25-53) to go along with 50 percent for the game (32-64). Clark finished with a game-high 25 points, which includes a 7-for-14 performance from three. Axelrod had 18 points while Nick Heidel finished with 17.

Bonacum led the Roadrunners with 15 points on 5-of-10 shooting as well as four rebounds and three assists. Peterson and Rob McWilliams each had nine points while Moseley and Ford finished with eight and seven points respectively.

With the loss, the Roadrunners snap their nine game win streak. They will look to rebound tomorrow night against Central College in their second game of the tournament at 5 p.m. EST. Central is 3-7 on the season with their last game a loss to No. 3 ranked Augustana, 82-73, on Dec. 16. The Roadrunners will be the fourth ranked team the Dutch have played so far this season.
