NORTH MANCHESTER, IND. – Junior guard Adrian Johnson (Indianapolis, Ind.) concluded an impressive first of week of 2017-18 Saturday, Nov. 18, highlighting Manchester University's first opportunity on its home Stan Weller Court honoring Coaches Hoffman and Wolfe.

Johnson delivered 26 points due in large part to a perfect seven-of-seven effort at the charity stripe. Despite his and the remainder of Coach Gerad Good's charges' best efforts, it wasn't enough for the home team to overcome a white-hot shooting Adrian College squad. The Bulldogs hit 61.5 percent from the field and were eight-of-16 from outside the arc in route to a 91-72 non-conference victory.

MU (1-2) used the same early recipe they did from the previous evening's 69-55 decision over Kalamazoo College. The Spartans got a crowd of over 300 to its feet with the first five and seven of the first 10 points. AC rallied and caught their hosts at 11-11 and 14-14, proceeded on a 12-0 run of their own and didn't look back.

Senior forward/center Enis Becirevic (Fort Wayne, Ind.) wasn't far off a double-double (nine points, six rebounds), and junior guard/forward David Stinson (Aurora, Ill.) came off the bench to tally eight points. Good's team concludes a run of three straight games against Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association foes Wednesday, Nov. 22, traveling to Trine University for a 6 p.m. start.
