Stockton Knocks Out Bearcats in ECAC

The Baruch College Bearcats suffered a 79-74 loss to the Ospreys of Stockton University in an ECAC first round match on Wednesday night in Galloway Township, New Jersey.

The visiting Bearcats led in a majority of statistical categories and were up early in the game, 24-10, but the Ospreys finished with a rally by scoring 12 of the last 16 points to advance to the quarterfinal round of the ECAC on Friday in Erie, Pennsylvania. 

Chimaechi Ekekeugbor led the Bearcats with 28 points to raise his career total to 1,499, which is currently sixth best in team history. He also grabbed eight rebounds.

Doyin Isaac finished with 27 points, nine rebounds and four assists.

The Bearcats finish the 2016-17 season with an 18-10 record.
