LISLE, IL - For the second consecutive season, the Benedictine University men's basketball team is playing for the NACC Tournament championship after taking down Wisconsin Lutheran on Friday night.

THE DETAILS
Both teams were slow to start the game, but a three-pointer from Zach Gorney made the score 8-2 with 15:17 to play in the first half
A layup from Brayden Olson made the score 18-13 with 7:59 remaining in the half but Wisconsin Lutheran shot back with nine straight to lead for the first time, opening a 23-18 lead with under five remaining in the first
Adam Reynolds opened an 13-0 run with a free throw as Benedictine took a 31-23 edge with under a minute left in the half on a layup from Tahron Harvey
Harvey pushed the lead to double digits for the first time at 36-26 early in the second half
The fourth-seeded visitors would not be able to overcome the deficit in the second but did pull within a single point at 51-50 just past the midpoint of the half
Benedictine ripped off 11 in a row to make the lead 64-52 with just over five minutes left
Wisconsin Lutheran was able to fight within seven points in the final minute but could pull no closer

Benedictine shot 50 percent in the second half and finished the game at 41.9 percent but struggled from the perimeter, making just 6-of-26 three-point attempts
Benedictine held a 45-39 edge on the glass and limited Wisconsin Lutheran to just 33.3 percent shooting
Harvey paced Benedictine with 19 points, adding 11 rebounds and eight assists
Reynolds collected his fifth straight double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds
Olson came off the bench to tally 16
