ROCKFORD, IL - Shooting over 60 percent, the 19th-ranked Benedictine University men's basketball team eclipsed the century mark for the second time this season in blitzing past Rockford University on the road.

The opening 10 minutes of the game were fairly tight
Brayden Olson, who posted a career game, quickly turned the tide
Olson hit a three-pointer to open a 16-2 run at the 12:22 mark, handing Benedictine the lead for good at 20-18

"We played well on both ends of the floor," head coach Keith Bunkenburg said. "Blaze (Michael Blaszczyk) and Adam (Reynolds) did a great job on two of Rockford's best players. It all starts on defense, which helps us flow better on the offensive end. Brayden (Olson) shot the ball extremely well. A great win on the road."

Olson made 12 field goals and finished 5-of-6 from beyond the arc to finish with a career best 30 while notching eight rebounds
Harvey connected on 9-of-12 attempts to tally 22 points while adding four assists
Harvey added a steal to reach 100 for his career, becoming the first Benedictine player to accumulate 1,000 career points, 400 rebounds, 350 assists, and 100 steals
Michael Blaszczyk finished with 19 points with Zach Gorney also collecting a career best 15
Benedictine held a 44-36 advantage on the glass and notched 21 assists
Benedictine made 24 field goals in the first half, shooting 66.7 percent and finished the game at 61.2 percent
