MEQUON, WI - Despite a career best 30 points from Michael Blaszczyk, the 14th-ranked Benedictine University men's basketball team saw a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference record 34-game regular season win streak end at Concordia University Wisconsin.

Benedictine played from behind for most of the game
An 8-0 spurt opened on a layup from Tahron Harvey allowed Benedictine to open the largest advantage of the game from either side
Blaszczyk hit a jumper at the 8:22 marker to give Benedictine a 31-23 edge

"We struggled defensively early and couldn't keep them off the glass," head coach Keith Bunkenburg said. "Seventeen offensive rebounds gave Concordia plenty of second chances. We missed some free throws down the stretch. Congrats to Concordia, they wanted it more than we did. Hopefully we will bounce back."
