MILWAUKEE, WI - The 14th-ranked Benedictine University men's basketball team posted a fourth straight victory, moving to 3-0 in the NACC with a road win over MSOE.

THE DETAILS
Benedictine chased an early deficit, falling behind by six points on a pair of occasions in the opening five minutes
Kenny Bogus tied the game at 13 with a three-pointer at the 12:48 mark
The game stayed close in the opening 20 minutes of play before an 11-0 run for Benedictine pushed the lead to double figures
Adam Reynolds opened the run with a layup and Bogus drained another three-pointer with 1:43 left in the half to make the score 30-18
Benedictine never pulled away in the second half as MSOE hung around
Baskets from Tahron Harvey and Michael Blaszczyk pushed the lead to 41-29 just over three minutes into the second
Leading 44-37 with 14:03 to go, Benedictine embarked on another 11-0 run to jump ahead 55-37
Four different individuals scored during the stretch, which was capped by a bucket from Eric Grygo past the mind-point of the half
MSOE pulled within 57-48 following a pair of free throws with 5:54 remaining, but a 9-0 spurt finished by a Brayden Olson layup quickly provided distance
Olson connected on a three-pointer with 1:41 left to account for the final, the largest margin of the game
Benedictine has now won 28 consecutive regular season conference games

For the first time this season, Benedictine utilized a different starting lineup
Three players reached double figures led by Harvey, who notched 16 with four rebounds and four assists
Blaszczyk tallied a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds
Olson scored 12 off the bench
MSOE held the rebound advantage 34-33
Benedictine made eight three-pointers and shot 55.6 percent in the second half to finish jsut under 50 percent for the game (49.1)
