BABSON PARK, Mass.—Senior Joey Flannery (Acton, Mass.) paced three players in doubles figures with 18 points and third-ranked Babson College opened up a 21-point halftime lead on its way to defeating visiting Endicott College, 72-60, in non-conference men's basketball action on Sunday afternoon at Staake Gymnasium.

With its ninth straight win at home, Babson is now 4-0 on the year, while Endicott falls to 1-1.

Junior Nick Comenale (New York Mills, N.Y.) finished with 16 points, five rebounds and four assists, while classmate Bradley Jacks (Fort Washington, Md.) contributed 14 points, nine boards and three dimes for the Beavers. Senior Isaiah Nelsen (North Andover, Mass.) had eight boards and eight rebounds in the win.

Senior Kamahl Walker (Worcester, Mass.) finished with 15 points, five rebounds and three assists to lead the Gulls. Classmate Max Motroni (West Warwick, R.I.) added 12 points and sophomore Nick Thibeault (Gorham, Maine) chipped in with 10 points off the bench.

Comenale and Nelsen combined to score Babson's first 16 points and the Green and White used a 20-5 run to build a 14-point lead on a three-pointer by senior Charlie Rice (Barnstable, Mass.) with 7:56 to go in the opening half. Endicott pulled within 11 on three occasions, the last coming at 28-17 with less than six minutes to go in the stanza, but the Beavers closed the first half with a 17-7 spurt that included seven points from Jacks and five From Flannery to build a 45-24 advantage at the break.

The Gulls opened the second half with a 13-2 run as Babson missed six of its first eight shots and committed three turnovers. Walker scored eight points during the spurt that pulled Endicott within 47-37 on a tip-in by senior Stephen Basden (Lynn, Mass.) with 15:01 to go in the game.

Flannery converted a layup on the next possession and Jacks followed a triple by Rice with a hoop in the lane to push the Beavers' lead back to 54-37 with 12:25 to play. The Green and White took its biggest advantage of the second half at 61-43 on a three-pointer by junior Chris Lowry (Union, Conn.) with just under nine minutes remaining.

Babson shot 43.3 percent (29-of-67) from the floor and knocked down 10 three-point field goals. The Beavers also outscored Endicott 34-24 in the paint and finished with a 43-36 edge on the glass.

The Gulls shot 36 percent (21-of-58) from the floor and were just 6-of-25 (24 percent) from beyond the arc.

Babson returns to action on Tuesday when it hosts Becker at 2 p.m., while Endicott travels to Middlebury next Sunday for a 2 p.m. tip-off.

•    The Beavers are now 3-0 all-time against Endicott.
•    Babson is now 34-4 at home going back to the start of the 2014-15 campaign.
•    Flannery, who reached double figures for the 43rd consecutive game, did not attempt a free throw on Sunday for just the third time in 64 games over the last three years.
•    The Beavers have scored at least 70 points in 12 consecutive games and in 30 of their last 32 contests going back to the start of last season.
