St. Louis, Mo. - Fontbonne University men's basketball senior Jared Greenlee (Strafford, Mo./Marshfield) earned his 1,000th career point today. The veteran Business Administration major needed just one more point after his performance at MacMurray Wednesday night to reach the milestone.

Greenlee scored a bucket a little over three and a half minutes into the game against Blackburn College on an assist from Trey Watkins to join the 1000-point club. Greenlee scored 15 points in the Griffins' 80-77 loss at Blackburn, taking his career total to 1,014. He is the 15th Griffin to join the 1000-point club and the first since 2010.
