 Bard College scored the final five points of the game to win 57-52 at Union in a Liberty League men's basketball game at the Viniar Athletic Center Sunday. The Raptors now stand 5-6 overall and 2-0 in the league while the Dutchmen are 3-6 overall and 1-1 in league action.

Union had trailed by 10 at 52-42 with 3:55 left in the second half, but went on a 10-0 run to tie it on a three pointer by Wade McNamara with 1:14 left in regulation. But Harry Johnson was fouled and made both free throws for Bard with 48 seconds remaining for a 54-52 lead. DeVahnte Mosley was fouled with 28 seconds left and sunk both at the line for a 56-52 lead and Armando Dunn made the first of two for the 57-52 score with 15 seconds to play.

Mosley scored 14 for the Raptors while Emmanuel Rainey had 12 and Armando Dunn scored 11 in the victory. Brandon Cunningham had a team high nine rebounds with eight points and three blocks. Bard shot 36% and won despite a total of 18 turnovers.

Union's Deshon Burgess had a game high 22 points, his third straight 20 point game and sixth of the season. Ryan Whelpley led Union with a game best 12 rebounds, and also scored eight points. William Hython had seven rebounds as Union outrebounded Bard, 44-41.

Bard led by nine at 30-21 at halftime and led by 11 with 18:01 left in the second half after a layup by Pat Kelly. Union went on a 15-4 run to tie it at 36-36 with 12:27 to play, and it was tied at 40-40 with 10:11 left before Bard went on a 12-2 run for the 52-42 lead with 3:55 remaining.

Union hosts local league rivals RPI Friday (8 p.m.) and Skidmore Saturday (4 p.m.) to wrap up a four game homestand.
