Canton, NY – Romario Fletcher (Queens, NY) of the men's basketball team has been named to the D3Hoops.com National Team of the Week for his performance last week.

Fletcher also had a huge week averaging 16.3 points and 11.3 rebounds per game while shooting 55 percent from the field (23-for-42). He opened the week with 22 points and 14 rebounds on 7-for-13 shooting in a 79-58 victory v. Utica. He followed that up with 14 points and seven rebounds in a 78-71 win against Clarkson University.

 

The forward recorded 15 points and 16 rebounds in a 77-73 victory v. Houghton on Saturday. Fletcher closed out his week with 14 points and eight rebounds on 6-for-8 shooting in just 19 minutes of action in a 74-36 win v. Albany College of Pharmacy. Fletcher also added six blocks, four steals and three assists on the week.
