Brooklyn, NY---The #24 Brooklyn College Men's Basketball Team improved to 7-0 on Wednesday evening as they dominated visiting Stevens, 107-92, behind an amazing individual performance from senior Egzon Gjonbalaj, who posted a triple-double of 34 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists. Stevens falls to 4-3 on the year.

For Brooklyn, it was the first time this season that they topped the 100-point mark, however the team had scored 90+ points in four of their first six games heading into Wednesday evening's non-conference showdown.

The Bulldogs were on fire from start to finish, shooting 54% from the field and an impressive 47% (14-30) from beyond the arc.

Egzon Gjonbalaj was 11-18 from the field, including 5-10 from three, and added 7-9 from the line.

"Egzon continues to impress daily," said BC head coach Rich Micallef.  "Just when you think he played a great game, he comes back and tops it with an even better performance."

Brother Edon Gjonbalaj posted a double-double, scoring 20 points and pulling down 10 boards in only 26 minutes of action.

Third brother Pajtim Gjonbalaj also got in the box score with two points and a couple rebounds.

The two led five in double-figures for Brooklyn, including Lorenzo Williams (19), Jamel Gist (14) and Chris McIllhatton (13). The five players combined for 100 of the team's 107 points.

"Chris (McIllhatton) was a huge spark off the bench for us tonight," said Micallef of his reserve guard.

The Ducks were able to stay somewhat within striking distance for most of the game as they knocked down 10 threes and went 22-30 from the line, but they had no answer for the Brooklyn offensive attack, which dominated all evening.

Brooklyn will remain home on Friday as they take on John Jay at 7:15 as the second part of a BC Basketball Doubleheader.  The BC Women will face John Jay at 5 pm.  The first 500 fans to attend the doubleheader will receive a free BC Bulldogs T-Shirt - Doors will open at 4:30 pm.
