The Anchormen (1-1) opened the first half on a roll, opening a 14-8 lead 7:47 into the first half following a made free throw by freshman forward Justin Campbell (New Haven, CT). The Falcons (2-2) responded with a 9-1 run, capped by a made jumper by senior guard Anthony Muccioli (Nashua, NH) with 8:06 left in the half. Fritzson knocked down a trey, one of three he made in the half, to start a 25-16 Anchormen run to close the half and enter the break up by seven, 40-33. |

RIC shot 54.5 percent (12-for-22) from the field and 50.0 percent (5-for-10) from downtown in the first half. The Falcons shot 37.1 percent (13-for-35) from the floor, while being held to just 20.0 percent (1-for-5) from three-point range over the first 20 minutes. |

FSU cut into the deficit in the second half, finally taking the lead late and holding off a late rally from the Anchormen to take the 77-73 win. RIC was paced by junior forward Terrance Tribble (White Plains, NY) who scored 17 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Sophomore guard Chris Green (Taunton, MA) chipped in 16 points with sophomore guard Roosevelt Shider (Meriden, CT) scoring 10 to round out the four Anchormen in double-figures. |

The Falcons were led by senior forward Kwame Lee (Brockton, MA) who poured in a game-high 21 points to go along with seven rebounds. Senior forward Givaughn Jones (Dorchester, MA) led the Falcons with eight boards and six assists in the victory. |

RIC shot 49.1 percent (27-for-55) from the field and 43.8 percent (7-for-16) from three-point range, while struggling from the free throw line, shooting just 57.1 percent (12-for-21).
